Chapter 1: Why we exist
School should not stop when money does
In Lebanon, many families can no longer pay their children’s school fees.
We help families keep their children in school by connecting each child with people who want to help, one school year at a time.
Chapter 2: How it works
One child, one school year
Each child on this site has this year’s tuition beside their story. You can cover part of it or all of it, and several donors often share one child.
You can help as many children as you like, or give to the general fund for the families in greatest need.
Chapter 3: Where your gift goes
From your gift to a classroom
- You giveTo one child, or to the general fund.
- Adopt a StudentRecords your gift, and sends you a receipt.
- The schoolReceives it, for that child’s fees.
- The childStays in class this year.
You receive a receipt for every gift, and your history shows which child and which school year each one went to.
Chapter 4: Our promise
How we protect the children
- Consent firstA child appears only after their guardian signs a consent form, in person.
- Blurred in publicA first name, a last initial and a blurred photo. The clear photo is shared only with that child’s sponsors.
- Removed on requestIf a family withdraws consent, the child disappears from the site straight away.
